Product Description

Save Money on this Bundle! The Ladder-Max Multi-Pro/24" Bundle includes the new Ladder-Max Multi-Pro Standoff/Stabilizer for Corners and More, the 24" straight arm attachments and one extra set of tips. It allows your standoff to be safely and securely placed on building corners and within minutes the corner attachments can be removed and replaced with the included 24" extension attachments. These create 24" of standoff distance from a roof or wall while spanning 39". This is a great attachment for those 24" eves or those projects where you need a little more distance from your ladder to the support surface. Other attachments for the Ladder-Max Multi-Pro are available for purchase and can be added separately. These attachments include: 13" attachment, 19" attachment, 51" Wide Span attachment, and our must have Multi-Tray, a tool and project tray. The Ladder-Max Multi-Pro/24" Bundle includes: The Multi-Pro Standoff/Stabilizer for Corners and More base unit, the corner attachment, the 24" attachment, and an extra set of tips. SAVE money with this terrific combination.

Ladder-Max Multi-Pro/24" Bundle Review

Product was delivered on time and as described.
Assembly is a little confusing. Making sure that the assembly is "Square" is not as easy as you might think. One of the tubes that connect to the brackets that go over the ladder rung had a much more pronounce hour glass bend than the the other side. I would suggest that snug be discussed more in the assembly. After you put the thing together you will realize as long as the bolts and nuts are making contact and any looseness is removed, that the tightening is enough. The assembly uses Nylok nuts so they will not back off.
I did not accept the review that states that the ladder will become a two man ladder. This person was absolutely correct and it is very true. The extra weight from the ladder max and the fact that you have to extend the ladder two steps to assemble the ladder max onto the ladder is part of the reason. With a longer ladder and a heavy top, as you try to walk the ladder up into position, you will pass the center fulcrum point of the ladder and the bottom of the ladder will kick out and tip to the top. This is much more a problem when taking it back down and moving the ladder. I have a Werner 28 foot aluminum ladder.
The orange tips that are on the corner extenders do not tell you to boil them. The tips that come for the straight extenders tell you to boil them. Not sure if I should boil the ones that are on the corner extenders or not. Really don't feel like boiling any of them. Not sure if I boil them if they will be like a mouth guard and form to the extenders not allowing them to be replaced easily.
Make sure that you buy the bundle or a set of straight extenders. trying to use the corner extenders on a flat surface are like ladder de-stabilizers not stabilizers. Once the straight extenders are on the ladder, they definitely stabilize the ladder and allow you to work under the ladder area. When you use it to offset the ladder from the top roof you should take care to lower the ladder down on the shingles and not tip the ladder into the shingles as you will damage the front edge of the tabs. This is not a ladder max issue but just a precaution that is not provided.
Might want to get the short set of these extenders as well. Once you have the 24 inch one on the ladder you will find out that you will not be able to reach very far right and left to the working surface without leaning a lot compared to a ladder without the stabilizers attached. I will need to get the shorter set. I am 5' 10" and have 32 inch sleeve shirt if that helps anyone.
The product is quality made and is a good gauge of steel. I love the fact that it is made in the USA, which is one of the reasons that I bought it. It will do what it is stated to be able to do. I would buy it again for use all around the house. I might consider a lighter aluminum version if I was only getting onto the roof.
