I had one 1618 EVS router, with guide, case, but a friend liked it very much and I sold it to him, he works on some projects for me. But as I had bought a spare 1618 D handle and templetes and parts I thought instead of selling the handle for the roputer I just needed a new 1618(6) motor and I would get a new complete router.
I decided to get this motor anc complement the D handle because under my own evaluation few products ofer this level of price/performance.
An extra point, I liked that it is Made in USA, first one was manufactured in my country, other than Germany I trust Made in USA and I also prefer a Made in Mexico product than other origins.
