Design House 526699 Aspen Wide Spread Lavatory Faucet, Oil Rubbed Bronze Review

I bought this really pretty faucet for a new, off-the-shelf, granite bathroom countertop, that came pre-drilled with 3 holes, 8"-spread.
I was sorta angry to discovered that the "POP-UP KNOB" (that you pull 'up' on to close the stopper in the drain) is NOT part of the faucet(there is usually a small hole in the back of the faucet that the rod fits into).
THIS faucet REQUIRES that ANOTHER hole be DRILLED BEHIND the faucet to accomodate it. There is a small hole at the back of the base of the faucet, so you know where to drill. (and, no, I'm not mistaken. The rod does NOT fit through the pre-drilled center hole of the countertop that the faucet part fits into.)
This will probably be okay if you have a wooden or composite material countertop, something easy to drill through, but we didn't even want to try to tackle drilling the granite.
We are VERY disappointed that the Item Picture, nor the Details mentioned this. (I sent a comment on the picture requesting that they provide a picture of the back of this faucet.)
I'm returning this Faucet.
