This is a lovely lamp. Great for a "healing" room, nice sanctuary lighting. The colors are bright. You can change the effect by using differant colored bulbs. Base is nice and heavy. The only reason I did not give it five stars is the piece that screws down to hold the shade on is made of plastic. The first time I screwed it down the threads stripped. Now it does not hold the shade tight. But I love it so much I did note want to return it. Will try to work it out.
