KOHLER K-5907-NA Epicurean Cutting Board Review

I only need the drain board, not the cutting board so I pay for something I do not need. I need the drain board so the sink looks complete. The downside to this board is it is wood and turns black over (a short period of) time. I believe the black is mold from moisture. Therefore, I throw out the board every 18-24 months and order a new one. Again, I do not use the cutting board. This sink calls for this board and proves to be an expensive endeavor.
