we worked around this cabinet guy that was using a forrest blade this summer and he told me how much he liked it. So I tried a couple. this 16" and a 10" and man was he right. Super sharp, just glides through your work. They are thicker and have a much wider kerf, but man oh man what a beautiful cut. We put the 16" on a makita beam saw and used it on poplar, oak and locust for this rustic cabin we worked on for 3 months. The blade would cut splinter free and straight and clean every time. I will probably get a few more of them this year for some of our other saws. Great blades. I am a believer!

Reflexite IMO/SOLAS FD1403 (M82) Marine Prismatic Reflective Tape is a tough weather and solvent resistant product designed for rugged outdoor maritime use. It is compliant with U.S. Department of Transportation specification USCG 46 CFR, section 164.018 and International Maritime Organization (IMO) Resolution A.658(16). The approval is for Type I and Type II. IMO/SOLAS (Safety Of Life At Sea) FD1403 (M82) reflective material is composed of cube corner (microprism) retroreflective elements integrally bonded to a flexible, smooth-surfaced tough and weather resistant UV stabilized polymeric film. The prism surfaces are to provide a mirror surface to the prism facets. The resulting film is not more than 0.008" thick, and comes coated with an aggressive pressure sensitive adhesive. Designed to withstand the marine environment, FD1403 survives continuous immersion in seawater, sub-freezing temperatures, and intense exposure to sunlight, guano and harsh weather. High-brightness Reflexite material is visible at distances of more than one kilometer. Rolls ship on a plain white core since cut from log roll material.

This stuff is great! I bought it to add reflective stripes to my winter jacket, so that I can use it at work (I'm an EMT.) You don't want to stand on the side of a highway at an accident, in a green-and-black coat, without some reflectiveness on it.

I didn't know if it would work well on a coat, since it's probably designed for rigid objects... but it does! It's flexible enough to bend with the fabric (ok you might notice a big patch of it on a light shirt, but it's just fine on the outside of a heavy coat.) The adhesive is strong and works great on Gore-Tex. And, of course, it's bright! There are other tapes out there that seem to be intended for clothing among other uses, but most aren't as bright or don't hold up well.

I haven't used it much yet or tried to wash it, but since it's designed for marine use I'm guessing that won't be a problem. I'm just impressed with how well it adheres to fabric, bends, and even looks decent!

One piece of advice - buy more than you think you'll need. You'd be surprised how fast you run out of 15 ft. I ran one band around the bottom of the coat, and "straps" up the back, over the shoulders an down the front with a partial double-stripe on the back... then ran out. I think I'm going to get a 2nd roll to add a double-stripe around the bottom of the coat and some on the sleeves. Plus I have motorcycle gear so I can use the extra on that.

KOHLER K-7304-5A-CP Triton Widespread Lavatory Faucet, Polished Chrome Review

I replaced 3 sets of faucets at work, that were about 20 years old and leaking (parts obsolete already). These things fit the bill perfectly, and have the handles that are handicap compliant. The reason for 4 stars was they were a bit noisier than the older faucets. I don't know if it's the valves that make the noise, or if it's the way they're mounted, but they are definitely not silent.
The water control is very smooth, and shut off is effortless. Very pleased.
