Overall this has been a great little stapler that never jambs or misfires. It feels good in the hand and is just the right weight. The plastic case that comes with it is nice and keeps it well protected. The only thing I can fault about it so far is the plastic lever hook that holds the spring loaded staple chamber closed. The stapler fell off a piece of furniture I was making and the hook broke so that the staple slide lock would not stay closed. It only fell from about 30 inches onto a linoleum floor. The plastic hook is what broke. It really should be made of metal. I could not find an easy way to keep the slide closed otherwise as there is spring tension on it and no good way to secure it. The plastic hook replacement part is hard to find. I would not purchase same stapler again for it was way to easy to break and the part is hard to find. Plastic cement or super glue did not work to try to repair the hook. I was able to find a similar hook on another unused stapler and fix this one. Even if I had a new one I would certainly be very afraid on dropping it lest it break and be unusable again!
