This Stabila level works very well and was used to build new staircase with 50" stair treads. Laser accuracy and provides an audible beep tone that is incredibly easy to set and understand when you have hit the perfect level point. Product did not come with a protective case of any kind and I thought for a price of $117, that it should at least include a protective case. Somewhat cheap from a German tool maker. I found that the level is a little rocky and could have been designed with a slightly wider base for total stability when attempting to find the perfect point of level. However, given the success with the first go around with the level, I was very please and would recommend to anybody looking for a top notch tool.
