I used this chandelier for a girls room, so with that said, I wouldn't have been happy if I was using it in a dining room. It has a "juvenile" look to it...it really looks like I could have bought it at Pottery Barn Kids. My daughter loves it, and the quality of the frame is great, perfect!!!! The directions were lousy though and the crystals were difficult to figure out, but in the end, we ended up trying to do it the way we thought it was supposed to be, and it looks great. The price can't be beat. You must have an electrician put it up or at least know how to install these type of fixtures yourself. It showed up on time as well. The candle covers in the picture are yellow, but ours showed up antique white, which I thought looked great. And...we got pink shades.
