After getting a quotation for a bathroom make over, we opted to purchace the the sink faucet from Amazon.com at a huge saving over our quoted cost. The American Standard 'Berwick' Monoblock faucet is a thing of beauty, that reeks of quality. The well packaged item had ample printed, step by step, installation instructions that were very easy to follow for a DIY installation. My only disapointment with the unit was that it can only be used with sinks that have a built in overflow system, so I will not be able to take advantage of the Speed Connect Metal Drain that comes with the tailpiece. The unit also has an adjustable hot limit safety stop that reduces the risk of accidental scalding.
All in all, this faucet certainly has updated the appearance of our '60s era bathroom reno !

After searching from tile store to tile store for weeks looking for the perfect tile for my kitchen backsplash, I decided to check on Amazon. I found the Foxlite sample and decided it might be just what I was looking for and I was right. I wanted a tile that was subtle blue and grays. Most of the tile samples I took home from stores, the blue was a little too green for my kitchen but the Foxlite was perfect. I ordered the tile to do the whole job directly from the company as Amazon only offered the sample size. I was a little leery to have it shipped all the way from Canada but since it was the tile I really wanted, I gave it a shot. Several of the sheets had one or two chipped or broken tiles and I was a little concerned that I had made a mistake in not trying to find it locally, but I contacted the company and they sent me some replacement sheets. We will be tiling next weekend after our prep work on walls is finished.

This is a very nice ladder. No problems. It came delivered by a freight company not UPS or FEDEX. For whatever reason noone from the freight company called me, I just followed up with Amazon who provided me with the freight company's number; I called the freight company to schedule the delivery. It did take a long time to get the ladder from Amazon to the freight company warehouse with the free shipping....I think about 30 days.
